That is a big deal since there are a lot of animatronics that didn't appear in the first movie, as that film stuck with the main four. However, with a franchise that includes games, comics, and more that stretches back to 2014, there is a lot to choose from.
The animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's not only include variants of the main four from the first movie — Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy — but various other creations that terrify gamers. These include Nightmare Animatronics, Halloween Animatronics, Funtime Animatronics, and many more. There are a ton to choose from for future movies.
Circus Baby
Circus Baby in Five Nights at Freddy's
Anyone who hates clowns might not want to see Circus Baby in the Five Nights at Freddy's movies. That is because she is a clown animatronic, the mascot of Pizza World in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, and an incredibly creepy and disturbing character. A mix between a creepy clown and an evil child, this is nightmare-inducing.
What is even more disturbing is that Circus Baby is haunted by the soul of William Afton's daughter, Elizabeth. In the games, William's daughter is not the same person she is in the movies, so that might have to change, but at the same time, it wouldn't take away from the villain's creepy nature.
She is also disarming, with a soft voice and a seeming love for playing with children, masking her murderous nature. Her only programming is to make ice cream and kill children. When there is no ice cream left to make, everyone needs to run.
Roxy
Roxy in Five Nights at Freddys
Arguably the most popular animatronic not seen in the first Five Nights at Freddy's movie, Roxy Wolf is a glamrock animatronic who first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. She was one of the main antagonists in that game, but also had a strong connection to Cassie, whom she saved at the end of the game.
The big thing about Roxy is that she is self-absorbed and only concerned with her own image, which makes her someone who has become a little controversial when it comes to the fans of the game and their ideas of what Roxy is all about.
Other than her vain attitude, which includes always looking at herself in mirrors, she is also sadistic and cruel, and is both emotionally and physically abusing her victims. At the same time, when she is in Safe Mode, she is kind and helpful, and that could fit in well if added to the Five Nights at Freddy's movie franchise.
Mini Music Man
Mini Music Man in Five Nights at Freddys
There are lots of Music Men in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. However, of all the Music Men, none are as deadly and scary as Mini Music Man, who showed up in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. He is little, but don't let that fool anyone because this wind-up animatronic is a broken-down version of the Music Man, and scarier than any other.
What is even scarier is that Mini Music Man has spider-like legs, and when he chases people around, it is truly disturbing. It also possesses a skin-like exoskeleton, with a seemingly real nose and a giant smile that is alarming to put it lightly.
Mini Music Man is also small enough to get into the vents, which means it can pop out from anywhere to attack the characters without warning. For the fact that it can deliver a genuine jump scare, it would make a perfect addition to the Five Nights at Freddy's movies.
The Tangle
The Tangle in Five Nights at Freddys
The Tangle is another Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic that showed up in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. This creation, also known as the Blob, is even more grotesque than a character like Molten Freddy. It is a distorted mess of melted wires and broken parts, and many of its parts are from other characters.
What is even scarier is that his deformed faceplate is that of Freddy Fasbear, and this is the only actual personality that remains in the head of this terrifying monster. This is a creature made for the Five Nights at Freddy's movies, especially since it lets out a scream when it attacks that would send shivers down a viewer's spine.
While the name might describe how its misshapen body looks, the scariest part is that all the different parts it possesses have spirits in them, and they are constantly fighting for control, which explains its erratic and violent behavior.
The Marionette
The Marionette in Five Nights at Freddys
Like Circus Baby, the Marionette is another clown-like animatronic. This is the animatronic that has the soul of Charlie Emily, Henry's daughter. She is one of the main villains in the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 video game, and there is a chance a version shows up in the second movie, since Skeet Ulrich stars as Henry in the film.
Also known as the Puppet, this animatronic has a simplistic design and doesn't look as intimidating as the other animatronics, but looks can be deceiving. With a music box mechanic, this is one of the villains who delivers solid jump scares, and the clown look makes it even more terrifying.
This is an important animatronic in Five Nights at Freddy's as well, since it is considered the caretaker of all the others and might be the reason any of them are possessed by spirits at all.
Ennard
Ennard in Five Nights at Freddys
Ennard is similar to the Tangle in that he is a mass of wires and seems to be barely held together. However, he is also one of the deadliest animatronics in the Five Nights at Freddy's games, debuting in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. He is also a very smart animatronic and actually hid in the scooped-out body of Michael Afton.
With all the wires, Ennard is a combination of all the Five Nights at Freddy's Funtime animatronics put together, which makes him almost a Frankenstein's Monster to that effect. The only part that isn't a mass of wires is his face, which is a metallic mask, making him even more disturbing to look at.
Possibly the scariest thing about Ennard visually is that he has several eyes attached to his body in different places, including two blue primary eyes and several other colored eyes on his body that once belonged to Freddy, Foxy, Ballora, Circus Baby, and Bon-Bon.
The Daycare Attendant
The Daycare Attendant in Five Nights at Freddys
The Daycare Attendant is originally from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach and was known as the Daycare Attendant Sun and Moon, with a head that looks like the sun and the moon while wearing jester clothing. This also gives him a split personality, similar to Two-Face from DC Comics.
Sun is friendly to everyone it comes in contact with, while Moon is terrifying and a genuine horror movie villain. When Moon is active, he has glowing red eyes and his body contorts in disturbing ways, a perfect match for a horror villain. Moon is even worse because he psychologically torments his victims before hurting them.
When Moon is active, he will chase and attack anyone he sees, even without provocation, and he can also walk on the walls and ceilings. If the Daycare Attendant shows up in a Five Nights at Freddy's movie, expect the horror levels to amp up drastically.
Glitchtrap
Glitchtrap in Five Nights at Freddy's
Glitchtrap is an interesting animatronic and one that was hinted at in the first Five Nights at Freddy's movie. At the end of the film, William Afton was trapped in the Springtrap animatronic and killed when it released the traps and killed him. In the games, William came back as Glitchtrap in Help Wanted.
With William Afton back in the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 movie, there is a chance this could be Glitchtrap, which is a variation of Spring Bonnie, but with Afton's evil personality attached. The worst part of Glitchtrap is the big, purposeful eyes and wicked smile that show purely evil intentions are at foot.
The most terrifying thing about Glitchtrap is that he rarely attacks anyone and simply follows players around in the games, trying to merge into their bodies. Knowing Afton's past sins, this stalker-like behavior is horrifying.
Nightmarionne
Nightmarionne in Five Nights at Freddys
Nightmarionne is from the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 game and is one of the non-canon entries in the video game franchise. However, even as a non-canon animatronic, he was still in the games and is still a terrifying creation that could frighten anyone going to the movies to see it.
The design is scary enough, taking the Marionette design and making it even more frightening, with a full white face with black makeup and sharp fangs. It also has a solid black body, allowing it to disappear into the shadows, and sharp claws coming out of the ribs.
In the game, he is also known as the Nightmare Puppet and is a significant antagonist in the series, replacing Nightmare, yet sharing the same disturbing behavior. As for his wicked personality, he is vengeful and sadistic and prefers to torment his victims before finishing them off.
The Mimic
Mimic in Five Nights at Freddys
The Mimic is one of the most terrifying animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's games. He first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach in a DLC. The endoskeleton version of The Mimic is terrifying and could end up as one of the scariest animatronics if it showed up in one of the Five Nights at Freddy's movies.
Mimic's name explains what it does, and what makes it even scarier is that its creator abused it, so it mimicked those emotions. That makes this animatronic cruel and murderous. The Mimic will kill anyone without any reason, which makes it a danger to anyone who enters the pizzeria, and could make it a horrifying new villain in the movies.
The even scarier part is that it can also mimic voices, which would make it an animatronic that could be just as dangerous. It could mimic Abby's voice and lure anyone into a trap. Of course, the Five Nights at Freddy's movies are mostly PG-13 affairs, so disturbing villains like the Mimic might be a little too much.
