NASSAU, Bahamas — Bryson DeChambeau held court on Sunday night after the U.S. team lost to Europe in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York. And according to both teammates Harris English, J.J. Spaun and U.S. Captain Keegan Bradley, he let his hair down on the dance floor.
“This is what makes the Ryder Cup so great, you see sides of guys you’d never normally see,” said Bradley at the Hero World Challenge.

DeChambeau was an emotional leader for the American side, often going out first and firing up the crowd as he attempted to drive the first green. But he earned just 1½ points in his five matches, and needed to rally for a tie in his singles match with Europe’s Matt Fitzpatrick. But it didn’t stop DeChambeau from being the life of the party when it was all said and done on Sunday.
“Bryson was trying to breakdance Sunday night on the dance floor. I don't know if you would call it breakdancing, but I give him an A for effort,” Spaun said.
Speaking at the RSM Classic in late November, English also said he enjoyed seeing "a different side of Bryson, which I really liked."
Added English: "He probably loves the Ryder Cup more than anybody I've ever seen so it's cool to see that. A guy that I haven't spent a ton of time with the last few years, so it was awesome to get to know Bryson more and to kind of see that side of him.”
