Vicky Lopez and Pina then scored Spain’s second and third goals in the 68th and 74th minutes, respectively, sealing the victory for the No 1-ranked FIFA team.
Friday’s first leg had ended goalless at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion in Kaiserslautern, where Spain goalkeeper Cata Coll was the standout performer after making five saves to keep a clean sheet. Despite chances for Germany, Spain’s Laia Alexandri perhaps came closest to scoring, only to see her first-half effort cleared off the line.
Spain reached the final after topping their group containing England, Portugal and Belgium, winning five times and losing once, and then beating 5-0 on aggregate over a two-legged semi-final in October.
Germany’s 3-2 aggregate win over France in October’s semi-final came after they beat Netherlands, Austria and Scotland to top their group.
