Tennessee football got a commitment from three-star defensive lineman NicQuayvion Simmons on the eve of the early signing period.
Simmons announced his decision on X on Dec. 2. He chose Tennessee over Mississippi State and Colorado among other schools.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementSimmons is a 6-foot-3, 305-pounder from Carver High in Columbus, Georgia. Last season, he had 26 tackles-for-loss and six sacks as a senior.
Tennessee has commitments from 24 commitments in its 2026 class, including two five-stars, 12 four-stars and 10 three-stars.
The class is led by five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys.
They join four-star recruits in athlete Salesi Moa, linebacker TJ White, athlete Joel Wyatt, linebacker Brayden Rouse, offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyreek King, offensive tackle Kamari Blair, edge rusher Hezekiah Harris, cornerback Zay Anderson, edge rusher Zach Groves, defensive lineman Dereon Albert and defensive line Kedric Golston.
