Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix turned in another clutch performance on Sunday Night Football against the Washington Commanders in Week 13.

Nix didn't have a perfect game -- his performance included a bad interception -- but once again, when it mattered most, he came up big for the Broncos.

Just before halftime, trailing 7-6, Nix led a 10-play, 64-yard drive that ended with his incredibly impressive touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton while falling down. Later, in overtime, Nix led a five-play, 76-yard drive for a go-ahead touchdown.

"He's just one of those guys, one of the things that we really valued on tape was the foot athlete, and the throws that he can make from some unusual positions," coach Sean Payton said of Nix after an eventual 27-26 win. "So, he played well in a dirty pocket in college. Meaning in our game, it's going to be noisy sometimes. And so that you're seeing some of that carryover. You're seeing his confidence carry over and he's just getting better and better and we're operating better."

Nix finished the game 29-of-45 passing for 321 yards with one score and one turnover, and Denver improved to 10-2 with the victory. The Broncos now enter the final stretch of the regular season aiming to secure a top seed in the AFC's playoff race.
