What number will Caitlin Clark wear for the USA Basketball in the FIBA World Cup 2026?

Caitlin Clark is the most famous No. 22 in the WNBA, but the Indiana Fever star is far from the only No. 22 around the league.

A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Sonia Citron of the Washington Mystics, Veronica Burton of the Golden State Valkyries, and Cameron Brink of the Los Angeles Sparks also wear that number.

So who wears No. 22 if these players are representing the United States?

Turns out, none of them — at least for training camp.

USA Basketball has released its training camp roster, and the coveted No. 22 is unused.

It's unclear how active Clark will be at camp. She last played on July 13 before a groin injury sidelined her for the rest of the season. She appeared in 13 games.

The 2026 FIBA World Cup is scheduled for Sept. 4-13 in Germany. Since the WNBA and its players' association haven't agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement, its effect on the WNBA schedule isn't clear.
