Jaxson Dart’s rookie season has been a whirlwind, but he can always count on the support of his siblings.

The rising NFL star, who replaced Russell Wilson as the New York Giants' starting quarterback in the 2025 season, is the oldest of four and was raised in Kaysville, Utah. His parents, Brandon and Kara, were both standout athletes and his younger brother, Diesel, is already making a name for himself as one of Utah’s top high school football players. He also has two younger sisters, though they mainly stay out of the spotlight.

All three of Jaxson’s siblings were by his side when he got the call from the Giants and learned he had achieved his dream of making it to the NFL. His family is incredibly important to him, so much so that he opted out of attending the draft in Green Bay, Wisc., and stayed home in Utah so he could share the moment with all of them.

“They only give you 10 tickets at the draft,” he explained in a behind-the-scenes draft day video. “I want to be with my family, I have a big family.”

“I just wanted everybody to be here and be back home,” he added. “20 years down the road, I’m going to look back on this and be like, ‘It was just an amazing experience with my family.’ ”

Here's everything to know about Jaxson Dart’s brother and two sisters.

Jaxson’s younger brother, Diesel, is also a rising football star. He’s a defensive back and wide receiver for Corner Canyon High School in Utah and has already received offers from several colleges, including Auburn University, the University of Arizona, his brother’s alma mater Ole Miss and the University of Utah, where his dad played football.

Diesel is set to graduate in 2027 and has yet to announce where he plans to play football.

Diesel feels “pressure” having him as a brother

Diesel has been candid about the “pressure” he feels to live up to the standard his older brother set, but he doesn't view it as a burden.

“There’s definitely added pressure with having a brother that’s been so successful in what he's done, but I wouldn’t say it’s a bad pressure,” he explained in an October 2025 YouTube video that chronicled his most recent football season. “It’s a pressure that will make me a better player at the end of the day, and I think it's a good pressure to have.”

He continued, “I’m really appreciative for having an older brother kind of pave the way for me as well.”

In another installment of the video series, Diesel revealed that his parents have always set “high expectations” for him and his siblings. “In our family … the expectations are higher than what another normal kid would face,” he said.

Jaxson’s two younger sisters are private, and not much is known about them. His younger sister, Stella, is a competitive dancer, and his other sister, Sydney, has hopes to become an elementary school teacher, according to her LinkedIn bio.

They don’t have public social media, but they have appeared in a few family photos that Jaxson has shared, including a group shot from the National Football Foundation’s 66th Annual Awards Dinner, where Jaxson was honored as one of 16 NFF Scholar-Athletes.

Jackson has noticeably sported a diamond-encrusted necklace at every Giants game this season, and as it turns out, there’s a story behind the flashy accessory.

At a press conference in May 2025, Jaxson revealed that the necklace originally belonged to one of his sisters. “So, my little sister had it, it was hers," he said. "It was before our bowl game and as I was leaving the house over Christmas — a little break before the bowl game — and just saw it in her room. And I was like, 'You know what, I kind of like it.' "

"So, I put it on and it's kind of been good luck for me ever since," he added.

His siblings are his biggest supporters

Through every milestone, Jaxson’s siblings have been right there with him. In September 2025, his siblings attended Jaxson’s first starting game with the Giants and cheered him on as he led the team to a win against the Los Angeles Chargers.

“They’ve been my ride since day one and really just the backbone of my every day,” he told a reporter after the game. “Just so thankful for them being here and it’s definitely a special experience to share with them.”

The support goes both ways, as well. In his draft video, Jaxson spoke about the quality time he had been spending with his family in the lead up to the big day, including attending his sister’s dance competition.
