At home, Eddie Howe’s men are in form and have won each of their last six matches at St. James’ Park.
They are also unbeaten in their last three home games in the Champions League, beating Athletic Club, Benfica and Union Saint-Gilloise.
The last time the sides played at St. James’ Park in the Premier League was in September 2024, when they beat Spurs 2-1.
Eddie Howe’s men also beat these opponents 2-0 in the round of 16 of the Carabao Cup in October.

Meanwhile, Spurs travel north on the back of a disappointing loss 2-1 loss against Fulham as well as a heavy 4-1 defeat against rivals and league leaders Arsenal. With a Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and a draw with Manchester United also fresh in the memory, Thomas Frank’s side are winless in their last four games across all competitions.
Losses against all three of their London neighbours have resulted in Spurs sitting 12th in the Premier League table.
The sides have face each other 173 times, with the Lilywhites winning 74 matches to the Magpies’ 65, with 34 fixtures ending in a draw.
