The Wisconsin Badgers transfer portal frenzy has started, as walk-on outside linebacker Cody Raymond announced that he will be entering the transfer portal on Monday.
Raymond, a 6’4, 235-pound outside linebacker, walked on for Wisconsin in the Class of 2024, bypassing offers from Toledo and Temple. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at his next destination.

Wisconsin is expected to have a good amount of movement both in and out of the program this offseason, and they’ll need to either revamp or upgrade several key positions.
Among them is the defensive front, where the Badgers will lose outside linebacker Mason Reiger, as well as defensive linemen Jay’Viar Suggs, Ben Barten, and Brandon Lane to eligibility. There could be other movement as well.
But, Raymond’s departure is the first publicly reported one for Wisconsin this offseason.
