WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson will move up in weight to challenge WBO junior welterweight title-holder Teofimo Lopez on Jan. 31. The fight will be available for streaming via DAZN, with other details regarding the fight and other fighters to appear on the card still yet to be determined.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementStevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) has earned titles in three separate divisions, holding the WBC lightweight title for over two years now. He's made three defenses on that belt, including his most recent victory over the previously undefeated William Zepeda in July this year.
Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs), meanwhile, is a former unified lightweight title-holder in his own right, making the jump to junior welterweight in 2022 and claiming the WBO belt in June 2023.

Teofimo Lopez is 21-1 with 13 of those wins coming via knockout.

The lone loss of Teofimo Lopez's career came November 2021, a shocking upset defeat to George Kambosos Jr. Kambosos Jr. was the IBF's mandatory challenger and while he entered the fight with an unbeaten record, he was a massive underdog. Kambosos Jr. would win by split decision
Lopez moved to the junior welterweight division following that loss.
Shakur Stevenson record
Shakur Stevenson is 24-0 with 11 knockouts on his resume.

When is Lopez vs. Stevenson?
The fight will be the main event at "The Ring 6", scheduled for Jan. 31, 2026. It will stream exclusively on DAZN. The venue for the fight has yet to be determined, but the fight will be happening in New York City.
