Jackson intends to test the market and will move on from the Bruins after spending 2025 as a starter in the secondary. Jackson transferred to Westwood last offseason after two standout years at Utah Tech, where he started every game played at the FCS level.

When he arrived, Jackson as a Top-200 cornerback in the portal. He was nearly 30 additions across two portal windows in coach DeShaun Foster's continued attempt to reshape UCLA’s roster through the portal and NIL era. However, Jackson leaves after Foster who was fired earlier this year.

Jackson appeared in all 12 games for the Bruins this fall and finished as one of the unit’s most productive defensive backs. He logged 44 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, three pass deflections, two interceptions, and one forced fumble.

A native of Compton, California, Jackson played high school football at Warren High School in Downey, Calif. as part of the 2023 recruiting cycle. He is expected to officially enter the portal when the next window opens in January.
