In the first edition of the NET rankings, coach Mark Few’s group ranks No. 5 amongst all college basketball programs. The Zags are 1-1 in Quad 1 opportunities, 1-0 in Quad 2.

After a noteworthy 2-1 performance at the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gonzaga has jumped up one spot in the Associated Press Poll. They received 934 total points.

Gonzaga dropped down to No. 5 in KenPom (No. 7-ranked defense, No. 13-ranked offense). Michigan replaced the Zags at No. 1 after winning the Players Era title.

In Bart Torkvik, the Zags are ranked No. 9. As for EvanMiya, Gonzaga stands at No. 10.

With all these metrics put together at the near quarter mark of the 2025-26 season, the Zags look like a No. 2, possibly a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, where everything currently stands.

The looming matchup with No. 18 Kentucky (5-2) on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, will be a chance to receive a second Quad 1 win.
