It won't be a full-strength team on either side of the floor, though.

The Mavericks at least have good news on the official NBA injury report, which reveals Cooper Flagg will be available to play through his right thumb injury.

The Nuggets also got good news regarding Nikola Jokic.

The big news is this: Jokic is listed as probable. He has a left wrist sprain, but seems good to go.

The Nuggets also have Bruce Brown listed as questionable, dealing with an illness.

They're on the report with five guys already listed as out.

The five Nuggets who will be absent are:

  • Tamar Bates (G League two-way)

  • Christian Braun (left ankle sprain)

  • Aaron Gordon (right hamstring strain)

  • DaRon Holmes II (G League, assignment)

  • Julian Strawther (lower back injury management)

Denver knows it can rely on Jokic and Jamal Murray to carry whatever group is on the floor. The continued absences of Braun and Gordon aren't ideal, but the Nuggets' leaders should be able to weather the storm.
