Depth has been a key phrase uttered around the 2025 edition of the Oregon Ducks, as the team has been hit with a wave of injuries offensively and had a number of players step up in big roles.
Just this week against the Washington Huskies, wide receiver Malik Benson, a transfer from Florida State, notched his first 100-yard game with the Ducks on five catches including a game-sealing 64-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Reserve wideout Jeremiah McClellan also contributed heavily, catching three passes for 78 yards. It didn't end there, as backup tight end Jamari Johnson caught three passes for 60 yards, outshining starter Kenyon Sadiq who commanded much attention from the Huskies' defense.
