It seems as if a key decision in terms of recruitment for both the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Virginia Tech Hokies will come to a close more quickly than initially thought.
It was announced today that four-star QB prospect Troy Huhn, the No. 21 QB in the class of 2026 will announce his commitment today on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube channel. While he won't officially sign anything today, he will announce his preferred. Interestingly enough, the two programs he is choosing between are his original choice and James Franklin's new home with Virginia Tech. This announcement is expected to end a week-long saga for Huhn after the crazy events of the past few months for the Nittany Lions.

This was part of a mass decommitment the Nittany Lions endured after that decision. Huhn had initially committed to the Nittany Lions as early as June 25, 2024.
The 6-4, 215-pound quarterback was initially a three-star prospect, who, as a junior at Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, California, threw for over 2,000 yards. He also featured at the Eilte 11 finals last year, where he was most likely heavily recruited by Penn State.
The fact that his final decision still includes Penn State is curious, as he seems to be loyal to Franklin to a certain extent. Penn State is still in the process of finding a new head coach. It will be interesting to see in less than 4 hours what Huhn's final choice really is.
