Connor Stalions is not trolling this time.
Stalions, the disgraced former Michigan football staffer punished by the NCAA for running an illegal in-person sign-stealing scheme, complimented Michigan State football Monday morning on the impending move to hire Pat Fitzgerald as its new coach.

SHAWN WINDSOR: Pat Fitzgerald has something to prove, and so does MSU football
He got some blowback for his initial tweet and responded with more detail, pointing to Northwestern's resources and academic standards − "It’s basically an Ivy League school in the Big Ten," Stalions wrote − makes what Fitzgerald did there more impressive than his 110-101 record in 17 seasons suggests.
Stalions also got Central Michigan punished after he attended an MSU-CMU game dressed as a CMU staffer and was on the CMU sideline.
