The Bucs' pass rush had been a question mark and a concern all offseason. The team moved over the need for a pass rusher in the NFL Draft after signing Haason Reddick, but folks still wondered what he was capable of coming off a disappointing 2024 season with holdouts and a limited role being served.
General manager Jason Licht once again proved that he should be trusted, as he was able to hit another home run in roster building. Reddick had been a reliable piece of the defense in 225 before a pair of injuries made him miss time. On Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, Reddick returned and was able to help the Bucs' pass rush get back to the way they had been playing prior to his injury.

His presence showed on Sunday that the Bucs need to find a long-term answer at pass rusher that goes beyond Yaya Diaby and Haason Reddick. Diaby has shown he can be one of the pieces, but he can't be the only one, or even the main one.
