Class of 2027 four-star defensive back Aaryn Washington has released his final five and Nebraska made the list. Ohio State, USC, Alabama and Washington also cut. The corner is set to commit on January 10 at the All-American Bowl.
Washington is the 79th overall player in the 2027 class, the ninth overall corner, and the ninth player in his class from the state of California per the Rivals Industry Rankings.

He has taken three visits to USC this season, in addition to visiting Ohio State at the end of August. There is momentum with Nebraska here, as the Huskers were his last visit on November 1.
The defensive back missed the first half of the season due to a foot injury, but he is known for his playmaking ability. He had 20 tackles, three interceptions, three pass breakups, and one fumble recovery over 11 games. Both the interception and the fumble recovery were returned for touchdowns.
This would be a solid get for a 2027 class that is ranked fifth in the country by Rivals' industry rankings. The program has its work cut out for it, but Washington would be a great get defensively. It will be interesting to see how this recruitment plays out.
